Maui Flowers About MartyMarty's Maui Massage Therapy on Maui

I grew up on my family's small walnut farm in California's central valley. My first job was in retail, but I also worked in the airline industry for some years, allowing me the opportunity to travel extensively.

In my early-30's I earned a BS degree in Architectural Interior Design from San Jose State University. I then worked in the San Francisco bay area for 10 years as a corporate interior designer.

Like many others, the aftermath of 9/11 left me unemployed. I decided to leave the design field and found an awesome job at Yosemite National Park. Living and working at the park was amazing, but a vacation to Maui pulled me away and I made Maui my home in 2003.

Maui Outdoor MassageA new friend who happened to be a massage therapist suggested I try giving him a massage. Within three weeks I was enrolled at the Maui Academy of Healing Arts. Maui naturally fosters healing and training here was a positive experience from which you will benefit.

In my free time, I enjoy all of the usual Maui activities: hiking, kayaking, snorkeling and playing at the beach. I'm a past president of Both Sides Now, Maui's LGBT community organization.

I currently serve on the board of directors of the Maui Aids Foundation. I also serve on the board of the Community Planning Group (CPG), which oversees the allocation of federal and state funds for HIV/AIDS outreach and care.

So, that's me in a nutshell (see, I'm never too far from that walnut farm...) But, you've found my newest endeavour, Maui Massage for Men. My journey continues and I'm very excited to begin this new chapter in my professional career. I look forward to meeting you and sharing with you my experience, expertise and aloha.
